Happy Sabbath,
I'm going to go lay down in a moment but I want to come on here to thank the Lord for a great week, a productive week, a safe week, and for bringing my family back safely. I had a long journey home on Sunday and an emergency happened with my two of my clients. The enemy is stirring up trouble and I have to honor the wishes of the person who is currently hospitalized. People want their money and are involved in deception and I pray and hope to have a clearer direction of what to do by next week. I encouraged the one person who was put in charge to be strong and to ignore what the others are saying. It may be that she might be the wrong person, but there is a reason why the person in the hospital said what she said to me and I cannot disclose that on here. That situation needs prayer.
People I know are going to jail. I received an email to see someone I knew from work caught up in a serious case and I know they are going to spend some years behind bars. Greed got to them and now they have ruined at least 10 years of their life and of course caused a lot of hurt and pain to other people.
Another person who upset me about two years ago because of them shirking responsibility and I perceived they were lying (I deleted their number the same day I received it, I was so peeved with them), is going to prison. They committed a heinous act, it's on the news and people are shaken up. They should be.
We have to be vigilant. The devil is as a lion walking about roaring and seeking whom it may devour. People have weaknesses of greed, lust, pride, and more but we cannot allow temptation to overtake us, no matter what it is. No one is immune to temptation. We need to keep our eyes, our minds, our everything on Christ. If it seems wrong or if you feel like you have to hide it, it probably is wrong. Check with God first before you plan to do anything and if you are unsure you are able to do what is right, get out of there and ask questions later. Don't allow people to talk you into doing anything. You will not get away with sin. Sin always comes to light, it's just a matter of time. So to save yourself from humiliation, embarrassment, and all the problems that come with it, choose not to sin. God gives us free will and the ability to choose not to sin. He told the woman who was about to be stoned to sin no more. Why would He say to sin no more if it were not possible? We have Jesus as our example and He has promised to send the Holy Spirit to give us strength and guidance through everything we go through. Choose to follow Him and ask for the Lord to help you to overcome temptation and the challenges of this life. If you ask according to His will, He will answer. He will help you.
May God bless you and keep you on your journey with Jesus this June.
