Happy Sabbath :)
This sure was a week but God is good. I thank the Lord for helping me to tackle some difficult situations at work. Things were chaotic and I had to make three reports to protect some of the people I work with. Someone is lying and I can't figure out who. I have a feeling that if things continue to go the way they have been, the police will have to get involved. I've had to call the police to protect one of my clients before but never for this level of disfunction. I pray that it all works out next week as some very big decisions need to be made and we need to have the right people involved in the planning. This week was the first week I had to see 8 clients in one day and it was almost 9. I rarely do six clients and even when I do that, it is too much.
I am thankful for the bonus my job gave me which will be paid out by next week. Those funds are really needed. I am thankful for an opportunity to serve at the nursing home ministry. It was a pleasure to see everyone. I am thinking about applying to that nursing home as I do have caretaker experience in a professional capacity. I also have scrubs that I want to wear and it would be perfect for that setting. The place is around the corner from my house and right next to my home pharmacy. I think I will look further into it. The activities coordinator was playing the piano when I came in and switched to Lauren Daigle when I went to sit down. She played along to the tv for the residents and showed me how to operate the tv and computer system when I went to do my part for the ministry. She said she was quitting because there is too much drama going on and it is such a shame because she is a wonderful person and she really shows she loves the people there. I wish her the best on her next journey and I'm sad to see such high turn over. I did reapply to my old part time but no one answered. I need a part time.
There's many other things I can put on here but I will keep this post short. God is good. I got through a challenging time this week and I could not have done so without the Lord. I hope that you had a good week and if you did not, remember the Lord. Jesus cares about you and everything you are going through. Just like he comforted Elijah and many other people who went through difficult times in the Bible, He can do so with you today. He can restore you and if you go to Him, he will encourage you and be the best friend you can ever have. God really is good. Be blessed and go with God.
:)
