I am happy today because my son got baptized today! I am happy because my parents and younger sister came out in support of my son and stayed for the service.
Ten souls including my son were baptized and it was such a wonderful surprise. I pray that all who stood up and stepped forward today commit their lives to the Lord and never turn back. I am thankful for what happened last week to help my son understand that there is a God who loves him and is real.
This week was a revival and the pastor called me on Wednesday and asked if I would like my son to get baptized and I was unsure because he had not gone through the lessons I was used to going through ahead of my baptism. We have consistently come to church and I've talked to him on a number of topics but not as deeply as I wanted. He accepted Christ today. Last night, he ran water to practice what he thought baptism was. I am so happy with him and I hope that with everything my family saw and heard today they will decide to commit their way to the Lord.
There are no other adventists in my family. Now my son is.
I hope to see more people choose Christ.
