Managing Time

 Good afternoon and Happy Sabbath.

I need to work on keeping things brief when I say it.  I have a hard time managing my time these days but God is good as always and has helped me to meet deadlines and handle business in His timing and I am thankful for that.  I had a productive week. I took off work yesterday because I was feeling overwhelmed and didn't know how I would schedule or who I would be able to get a hold of to put on my calendar last minute so I decided to take some PTO.  I thought I would do some door dashing and do something about my hair but when  you don't really take time to plan, other things jump in and take over.  I ended up spending most of my day and afternoon outside.  It started out with me raking up old leaves and debris from my front triangle garden and after a failed attempt of wrapping something I planned to trash in the back yard, I found myself with my post digger and shovel digging holes at the bottom of my hill to put trees in.  I dug five holes and brought out the machete, hatchet and hammer to tackle the tougher spots particularly 2-3.5 inch diameter roots that felt like rocks ever time I plunged the shovel into the ground.  I was back and forth over to my parents house and what was supposed to me dropping off the post digger I then found myself digging up peach trees and yucca to bring to my house.  I planted four trees in total, three were 1-2 years old and one had flower buds about 8-9 ft tall.  I will go back and get a plum tree and some other things but what I'd like is a white cherry tree and I will talk to my parents about what volunteer plants they have popping up around their yard.  The plum grows wide and awkwardly so I will have to think carefully about where I will place it.  To think I was going to plant a row of peaches at the top of the hill.  I'm glad I didn't do that.  It wouldn't make any sense.

I ordered my supplies for my notary business and am going to have my pine tree cut down in the back yard next week.  I am looking forward to that so I can build my green house right afterward.  I have alot of yard work to do.  I am thinking about doing my first mow tomorrow, getting some cinder blocks to secure the gazebo frame in the back so I can make use of the sand bags and mulch that are supposedly holding it in place but look terrible.  I also need to door dash and get back on my grind with saving for my rental investment property.  Many other things I'm not mentioning here but these are just some of the things I have been up to and I am thankful for the Lord holding it all together.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot.  The enemy has been trying to send people into my space to bring me down and speak negatively towards me.  I am working on shutting all of that down.  We have the option to accept that type of energy or to keep it moving and not allow it to discourage us.  I encourage you to remember what the Lord has purposed for you and keep following Him.  People are going to say what they want to say and have their opinions about you but you have the power and choice to allow what they might try to direct toward you into your heart and to thwart your plans for success.  Only one voice matters and that's the Lord's.

Happy Sabbath :)
