Happy Sabbath,
God is good. I am thankful to be home today with my son. I am thankful that I am off this evening and don't have to go in because they forgot to add me to schedule. At the same time, I am thankful that I could pick up a few hours next week and that they do actually have me back on the schedule as normal going well into March. I took the option of not signing up for some days to enjoy a wonderful four day weekend (because of presidents day) and I am thankful that I have an abundance of PTO so I was able to take off part of the day when I just didn't feel like working at my main gig.
For my part time, I am out of time off because the company decided to use it in place of COVID pay and never told me that was their process. If I get a few points, I will be fired and I don't want that happen.
I am looking forward to March. I would really like to go out tomorrow to get supplies from Lowes to get my yard in order. I was watching a channel of a gardener who offered some good ideas for dealing with emergencies and because of him, I went out and purchased a portable stove, compass with whistle and flint/magnesium bar. They were out of propane so I'll see if I can pick some up tomorrow, but yes, I am excited for the spring to come and am thankful for the Lord keeping us through this winter season.
Last winter, I went without heat and this year, my house has been warm and comfortable and I have been home to enjoy this place. I am not going to complain. God has been good.
I hope you are having a great week as well and enjoying this beautiful Sabbath as much as I am.
