No Issues

 God is good. Happy Sabbath.  I'm trying to keep topics focused on the Lord right now and have been talking to my son about trusting in the Lord and being aware of the attacks of the enemy, especially at church. I'm glad that he is receptive and God is continuing to work on his heart.  I am thankful for a good week. I'm thankful my son was able to attend some great events at a teen center he goes to.  He was surprised to see another child from church there and when I saw them today, I was told several children go there during the week in the late afternoons.  It's a small world and I'm glad he is able to socialize and be around his peers in settings other than church.  He is making friends from different backgrounds and having a good time there.  I have to go because we are having bible study shortly but yeah, no complaints.  God is wonderful and taking care of my family and I thank Him!

Keeping It Short

 Keeping it short.  God is good. My son is back home. My family came back earlier than I expected and they were kept safe and I am thankful.  My son and I are about to attend a Bible study so that should be fun and I am going to set up for that.  My client is able to move despite all the previous problems and I'm happy for that.  We had a good lunch and are home and enjoying the Sabbath day.  May you be blessed and have a great Sabbath and new week to come: )

No Complaints Today

 Happy Sabbath,

It's such a lovely day. I had a great day at church and I enjoyed a good lunch that didn't take any effort. It seems my heating system is working so I praise God for that.  I am thankful for a comfortable home. I'm thankful for my new security system and to be able to find a device that I had not used in a while to become a control center for some of the systems I have in place.  When I arrived at my house I saw a bicycle on the ground in the driveway of my neighbor. I was confused because I know they are a young family and their only child is still an infant.  Who would have their bicycle in their driveway for any reason.  When I got ready to turn my vehicle off, I saw the person who would do such a thing. One of the people who prompted me to set up the security system in the first place.  I don't know if they took the time to talk to him but hopefully they will be careful.  I might be wrong I believe he was the person who broke into their house when the previous family lived there (causing them to move out of town).  He has no good reason to come all the way around and a long way at that to get to our street to bother that family.  I open my curtains a little too early and he promptly turns out his lights in his house to watch my house and I'm certain theirs as well.  I have a camera set up to face my sliding glass door and patio so if anything approaches I have 3-5 devices that will sound off that there is movement and will record. 

My family is preparing to return to town tomorrow.  I have been enjoying this time alone and thought I would do some trips but I stayed in my neighborhood. I was able to get some things done around the house. I was able to paint cabinets, walls, install some beautiful ceiling lights, put out autumn decorations and get a great deal on mums for my front yard.  My son's bedroom is clean and ready for him to return. I changed the layout so it is more accessible for him and he gets more sunlight in his room.  The only thing I was not able to do was change the direction of my refrigerator doors.  There is a screw that is too tight and my WD40 did absolutely nothing to loosen it.  If I find another penetrating oil or tool, I'll try again but for now it is ok. I was able to stop by Trader Joes and get my favorite meal items. Trader Joes always makes me happy every time I go in there.  

My client's waiver was reinstated so I'm happy about that.  There were some big plans that were put on hold as a result but now we can move forward and get them the services they need. I even washed my hair mid week and it was quick to style.  That doesn't happen for me.  I'm on a low heat journey right now and am wearing my twists in a bun these days.  Now that it is fall, I am excited about grabbing a hat because that will give me another reason not to have to do my hair.  Back in 2008/2009 and even 2010 I kept my hair in sopping wet twists and they absolutely flourished.  I think I will start doing this for autumn and winter...maybe spring and will go back to bottles of olive oil and Vo5.  2026 could be my hip length goal, who knows.   Anyway, I had a good week. My hair is clean and fresh. My security system is set up and I feel ,more comfortable. I have the comforts that I like and God continues to take care of and bless me.  I have no complaints.  God is good.

 Happy Sabbath

God is good.  God was good to me Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday. He was good to me yesterday.  He is good today and always good.  I am thankful for a good week.  I am thankful that my security system arrived. I have two systems in place now and made another order on Amazon yesterday which should arrive mid to late next week.  I am happy for peace and quiet. I am happy about my sabbath school class and that it was not too bad today.  I had my eyes on one of the prizes I purposed for the children. When the children complete their lesson, I have them play a game and I'll have three children win every time.  One child chose the item I had in the bag that was something I personally wanted but then later it started leaking because they were not handling it properly.  They swapped it out for a different prize because their mother wouldn't allow them to have something that leaks and would be a problem for their household pet.  I ended up getting the item I liked the most back and am keeping it.  I don't care how old I am, it's still a cool item and I'm glad I have it.  I'm thankful for service today and God's mercy and grace.  I am thankful that someone answered my parent's call about the electrical issue and they expect to get help next week on it.  I am thankful they were able to get a new refrigerator and with the current amp set up, it is working and nothing is shorting out.  I am thankful that I stopped by the office this week to pick up my mileage reimbursement check. I expected it to be chump change but it ended up being over $500.  I am thankful for God and who He is.  God is good.  God is good. God is good.
