No Complaints

 Happy Sabbath :)

No complaints.  God is always good. I am thankful for a great day at church.  I am thankful for time to prepare for my classes. I was able to hold a great sabbath school for my class and Adventurers and we had fun today.  I am thankful for traveling mercies this week.  I was able to get to my work appointments, facilitate the meetings that needed to be had, and succeeded in getting approval for a client to get a new vehicle.  I have had calls with insurance companies before and I expected things to be difficult especially. because for this case, they did not have power of attorney set up and the insurance didn't even want to talk to the family.  I am thankful that God gave me a way around it.  I am thankful for the relationships I've formed with certain parties that could offer funding to help with the case.  God worked it all out and they will be good to go in addition to getting donated equipment that would save them even more.

I enjoy the work that I do and am thankful for the job that I have. I am thankful that I can make a positive difference in my clients' lives.  No complaints. God is good.

My Son

Happy Sabbath,

Today was a great day and it has been a good week. I am thankful for an opportunity to go to the nursing home to visit with God's older children. I cancelled the drive out for Pathfinders because of the weather and if I had not done so, I would have missed the nursing hone. It's is always a joy to go see them and we had a great time this afternoon.  My son is having a hard time making friends and connecting with others at Pathfinders so much that he doesn't want to go but I'm going to keep encouraging him.  I will also look into other social events with tweens in the area. He needs to be around other people and he is so isolated as a homeschool student. So that I need prayer for. No complaints this week. God is good!

Keep Praying

Happy Sabbath,

It's been a week but God is good and always faithful.  I am thankful to be able to go to church today. I am thankful that no problems occurred today. I saw the police parked in the parking lot of my church this morning and it was an unusual site as I am always either the 1st or 2nd person to make it there and have never seen them there. We have a good relationship with the police department, fire department and other services and offices in our community and I know there are many immigrants who attend my church regularly.  There are alot of unknowns at this point and I've heard alot of terrible things happening throughout the country as a result of the new administration.  I pray that everyone remains safe out here because it's going to get uglier. I am thankful that no one I know has been negatively affected. I pray that it continues to be that way.

After service I was at the piano and my son and another child came over to pester me with questions. Then someone else came to ask me about activity after service and while I was distracted, my son did the very thing I told him not to do which caused my phone to fall through a slit in the piano where I could not reach. I thought I would have to wait for the host church to call a piano repair person to open it up and retrieve it but a church brother was able to safely remove the keyboard cover completely so I could get in there. If the Lord had not guided him to do this, I would be without my phone for the week and in a whole lot of trouble because my phone is the key for so many things. I have bills to pay. I need it to log in to my work accounts sometimes.  I would have been shut down. I have passwords written down and info elsewhere but I need to do another backup. I am thankful that my phone could be saved and not live inside of a piano for who knows how long.

I am thankful. I hope that you are safe and go with the Lord this week. News headings shocked me and brought me to tears as so much of this stuff hits too close to home (literally in my backyard). I pray that no more occurs.

Don't Lose Hope

Happy Sabbath

I'm going to keep this short today because I'm sitting in with the Pathfinders today to encourage him to continue. We've had a on and off difficult week but I still praise the Lord.

I am praying for people I know who reside in Philadelphia.  I've passed through and been over the area many times and heard last night of a second plane crash that just hits too close to home. I hope that this family I work with is not affected. She recently sold her house 1/8/25 and lived in a home directly behind the mall where they said the plane crash occurred. I also have another person I work with who lives on the other side of Cottman Ave close to the same area. There is so much going on and this world is a dangerous place. Don't allow these events to make you afraid. When all these things happen we are to look up because out redemption drawers nigh. Don't lose hope. Keep the faith. Turbulent times are here but God keeps His promises.  Trust in the Lord and may you have a blessed week.
